This city is located 213 meters above sea level. It is bordered by the dense forest of the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary and on the banks of the Kameng River. Bhalukpong, this Fort was built in the tenth century and is now in ruins but it refers to the place’s culture and ancient glory. The king Bhaluka built the fort. 

Tipi is an orchid research center, which is located on the west bank of the Kameng River. Various types of orchids (over 50,600 species), museums, herbariums, butterflies and gardens will win your soul. 

Pakhui Wildlife royal sanctuary is home to Royal Bengal tiger and many other animals and plant and trees. About 300 species of birds live here.
